Removed the Brother MFC-J1205W and the 'Best Student Printer' category. It isn't quite as good as the Canon for photo printing, but it's pretty close. The easiest printer youve ever had to set up. It also feels a lot sturdier when it comes to the build. Automatic two-sided printing, hands-free 35-page automatic document feeder, and more. Its ink cartridges last much longer so that you don't have to replace them as often, saving you money in the long run. If you're willing to spend more upfront for a model with better yield, the Brother MFC-J1205W is worth checking out. Its printing speed is slow at nine black or three color pages per minute, but on the upside, it can perform duplex printing automatically. That said, there are XL and XXL cartridges available that'll last longer, and it works with third-party ink, which are typically cheaper. The biggest downside with this model is its low page yield, as its two-cartridge system gets you only around 200 black and color prints, meaning you'll have to replace the cartridges pretty often, which can very quickly cost you more than the original price of the printer. Printed pictures have a lot of fine details and good color accuracy, albeit with a little bit of banding. The photo printing quality is pretty good for an under-$100 printer. It has a high-resolution flatbed scanner that lets you easily scan anything you want, like photos, drawings, or signed documents, though it isn't the best for scanning long, multi-page documents as it doesn't have an automatic feeder.
